Amy Fisher:

The Hatchling - mixed media
Amy graduated in 2005 with a BA(Hons) Degree in Painting from Grays School of Art, RGU. Since returning home to Shetland she has lectured for a large variety of individuals and groups of all ages delivering mixed media, drawing, painting, printmaking, weave and crafts workshops.
Currently a part-time arts and crafts lecturer at The Bridges Project, 'Drawing with Mixed Media' tutor at Shetland College UHI, 'Creative Drawing' tutor for Adult Learning and a weaving tutor for nursery school pupils. Amy also keeps her own practice up through being a member of the Veer North art group, exhibiting locally and overseas. Having recently returned from a 6 month trip to South America she is currently working towards a solo show.
