The Hatchling - mixed media
Amy graduated in 2005 with a BA(Hons) Degree in Painting from Grays School of Art, RGU. Since returning home to Shetland she has been involved in a range of creative projects including leading workshops in mixed media, drawing, painting and printmaking. These have taken the form of: travelling print workshops for children, a ‘Big Draw’ event, various day, weekend and night classes for adults and children, schools workshops, part-time lecturing at the local College and a 2 day workshop in Copenhagen. With a Marketing day job Amy also keeps her own practice up through being a member of the Veer North art group, exhibiting locally and overseas on the UK Mainland, Copenhagen and Spain.
Amy has recently exhibited work at the Shetland Museum as part of the Veer North group exhibition Crossing Waater.
